We love making shirts!
Our UK based workshop has been making shirts since the 30’s and only the most skilled seamstresses are employed to make your shirts. All your measurements are taken and a block shirt is adjusted according to these. (So we don’t only shorten sleeve and back lengths). All shirts are laser cut and then sewn together on individual sewing machines by our highly skilled team. Some parts of the shirt, like the gauntlet and collar are still sewn together individually and by hand operated sewing machines, unlike a lot of mass produced shirts where machinery has evolved to take care of the smaller more intricate seams
Included in our range of over 300 fabrics are stripes, checks, twills, plains as well as some really fashionable, funky designs. Every year we update the fashion range and also make sure our staple classics are always in stock. Some customers prefer to re-order the same fabrics, but when you see our range, it would be impossible to only choose one design. After selecting your fabric of choice, you then have a range of styling options, from the type of collar, cuff, and fastening as well as optional pockets.
